HAVE FAITH IN HIM
@ 2009-05-07 – 14:57:58
"I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me."
The road to success is not straight. There is a curve called Failure, a loop
called Confusion, speed bumps called Friends, red lights called Graves,
caution lights called Family. You will have flats called Jobs. But, if you
have a spare called Determination, an engine called Perseverance, insurance
called Faith, a driver called Jesus, you will make it to a place called
Success.

STORMS ARE A PART OF LIFE.
@ 2009-05-05 – 10:32:16
We all face storms. Some are physical-- i.e., tornadoes, floods, earthquakes. Some are personal--- i.e., death, job problems, soured friendships. Storms are a part of life.
The right question is not whether they will come, or when, but how we will respond to them.
Paul faced a life-threatening storm. He was on his way to Rome to see Caesar, to stand trial. (Acts 27:14-44)
For 14 days the ship was in a raging sea. But Paul never panicked. As the crew panicked, Paul stood and shared the anchors that held his life secure.
Will your anchor hold in the storms of life?

SOMTIMES
@ 2009-04-25 – 13:00:36
Sometimes God breaks our spirit to save our soul.
Sometimes He breaks our heart to make us whole.
Sometimes God allows pain so we can be stronger.
Sometimes God sends us failure so we can be humble.
Sometimes God allows illness so we can take better care of ourselves.
Sometimes God allows everything to be taken away from us so we can learn the value of everything He gave us.

THE POWER OF PRAYER
@ 2009-04-15 – 15:43:14
YOU MAKE A LIVING BY WHAT YOU GET,
BUT YOU MAKE A LIFE BY WHAT YOU GIVE.Three men were hiking through a forest when they came upon a large raging violent river. Needing to get on the other side, the first man prayed,
"God, please give me the strength to cross the river."
Poof! God gave him big arms and strong legs and he was able to swim across in about 2 hours, having almost drowned twice.
After witnessing that, the second man prayed,
"God, please give me strength and the tools to cross the river."
Poof! God gave him a row boat and strong arms and strong legs and he was able to row across in about an hour after almost capsizing once.
Seeing what happened to the first two men, the third man prayed, "God, please give me the strength, the tools and the intelligence to cross the river.
Poof! He was turned into a woman. She checked the map, hiked one hundred yards up stream and walked across the bridge.
SHARE THIS WITH A WOMAN WHO NEEDS A GOOD LAUGH AND TO ANY MAN WHO
CAN HANDLE IT!

GOD IS ABLE
@ 2009-03-27 – 09:11:49
HE IS GOD!!!
GOD changed the status of David from a shepherd boy to king of Israel
,
Esther from a slave girl to a Queen and Joseph from a prisoner to the
first(and only foreigner to become) Prime Minister of Egypt .
In chemistry he turned water to wine, in biology he was born without
the normal conception.
In physics he disapproved the law of gravity when he ascended into
heaven.
In economics he disapproved the law of diminishing return by feeding
5000 men with two fishes & 5 loaves of bread.
In history he is the beginning & the end.
In Government he said that he shall be called wonderful counsellor,
prince of peace.
In religion he said no one comes to the father except
through him so who is he.(JESUS).Join me and lets celebrate him, he is worthy,to be praised.

WORDS OF WISDOM
@ 2009-03-26 – 10:28:37
He who kills time injures eternity.
Take time to think- it is the source of power.
Take time to play- it is the secret of perpetual youth.
Take time to read- it is the fountain of wisdom.
Take time to pray- it is the greatest power on earth.
Take time to love and be loved- it is a God-given privilege.
Take time to be friendly- it is the road to happiness.
Take time to laugh- it is the music of the soul.
Take time to give- it is too short a day to be selfish.
Take time to work- it is the price of success.

THE UNDILUTED PRAYER
@ 2009-03-21 – 15:10:41
By A Pastor with GUTS!
Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask
your forgiveness and to seek your direction and
guidance. We know Your Word says, 'Woe to those
who call evil good,' but that is exactly what we
have done.We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed
our values. We have exploited the poor and called it
the lottery. We have rewarded laziness and called it
welfare. We have killed our unborn and called it
choice. We have shot abortionists and called it
justifiable. We have neglected to discipline our
children and called it building self esteem..We have abused power and called it
politics. We have coveted our neighbour's possessions
and called it ambition. We have polluted the air with profanity and
pornography and called it freedom of expression. We have ridiculed the time-honoured values
of our forefathers and called it enlightenment.Search us, Oh, God, and know our hearts
today; cleanse us from every sin and set us free.
Amen!

HOW IS YOUR GIVING?
@ 2009-03-14 – 11:53:06
Give and it will be given unto you.
Luke 6:38 NIV
When it comes to giving, the Bible clearly teaches us two things: (1) We should give expecting to receive! You say, "If I get more, I'll give more." No, you've got it back to front. Jesus said, "Give and it will be given to you… the measure you use… will be measured to you" (Luke 6:38 NIV). The level of your giving determines the level of your receiving. So break through your barriers of fear and put God to the test, He won't disappoint you. (2) We get back more than we give. Paul writes, "Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will… increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness" (2 Corinthians 9:10 NIV). Notice, some of the seed [money] God gives us is for food (our own needs), and some is for "a harvest of righteousness". What does that mean? Paul explains: "He has scattered abroad His gifts to the poor; His righteousness endures forever" (2 Corinthians 9:9 NIV). To be truly righteous we must show compassion toward the hurting and give generously to those who are unable to provide for themselves. The Bible says that when we give to the poor, we lend to the Lord and He will repay us (Proverbs 19:17). Imagine the interest God pays! Jesus describes it as: "Good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over" (Luke 6:38 NIV). There's no lack of money in this world, God just wants to get it into the right hands!
And by the way, giving is not just how the church raises its budget, it's how God raises His children so that His work gets accomplished and they get blessed in the process.
So, how's your giving?

BE LIFTED UP
@ 2009-02-21 – 13:34:19
TEARS ARE FOR BABIES...WORRIES ARE FOR FOOLS...
When a man lifts you up, it's definitely to the height of his hands, but
when GOD lifts you up it's limitless, seek HIM now and forsake all else
and be uplifted forever!!!
