  • CLEANING HOUSE

Last Week I threw out worrying, it was getting old and in the way. It kept me from being me; I couldn't do things God's way. I threw out a book on MY PAST
(Didn't have time to read it anyway).

Replaced it with NEW GOALS, started reading it today. I threw out hate and bad memories,(Remember how I treasured them so)?

Got me a NEW PHILOSOPHY too, threw out the one from long ago Brought in some new books too, called I CAN, I WILL, and I MUST.

Threw out I might, I think and I ought. WOW, you should have seen the dust.

I ran across an OLD FRIEND, I hadn't talked to in a while.

His name is GOD the Father, and I really like His style. He helped me to do some cleaning and added some things Himself.

Like PRAYER, HOPE, FAITH and LOVE, Yes... I placed them right on the shelf. I picked up this special thing and placed it at the front door.

I FOUND IT- it's called PEACE. Nothing gets me down any more.

Yes, I've got my house looking nice. Looks good around the place. For things like Worry and Trouble there just isn't any space.

It's good to do a little house cleaning, Get rid of the things on the shelf. It sure makes things brighter; maybe you should

    TRY IT YOURSELF.

BE BLESSED AND BE A BLESSING !!!!: wave:

  • ANGER

    ANGER

    What is anger?
    Why get angry?
What are the benefits of anger?

I believe if we can answer these questions correctly then we are safe.

Why not give it a try.

  • PROBLEMS

For Those Who Wonder Why they Have Problems And they Say," Why Me" GOD

There are 5 ways God uses Problems to exhort us

    1. God uses problems to DIRECT you. Sometimes God must light a fire under you to get you moving. Problems often point us in a new direction and motivate us to change. Is God trying to get your attention?

    2. God uses problems to INSPECT you. People are like tea bags......if you want to know what's inside them, you just drop them into hot water. Has God tested your faith with a problem? What do your problems reveal about you?

    3. God uses problems to CORRECT you. Some lessons we learn only through pain and failure. It's likely that as a child your parents told you not to touch a hot stove. But you probably learned by being burned. Sometimes we only learn the value of something........Health, money, a relationship........ by losing it.

    4. God uses problems to PROTECT you. A problem can be a Blessing in disguise if it prevents you from being harmed by something more serious. Last year a friend was fired for refusing to do something unethical that his boss had asked him to do. His unemployment was a problem-but it saved him from being convicted and sent to prison a year later when management's actions were eventually discovered.

    5. God uses problems to PERFECT you. Problems, when responded to correctly, are character builders. God is far more interested in your character than your comfort. Your relationship to God and your character are the only two things you're going to take with you into eternity.

God uses problems to DIRECT, INSPECT, CORRECT, PROTECT AND PERFECT us.

No matter what you're going through in life, count it all joy, for our God is truly an Awesome God. Stay blessed and continue to be a blessing to others.

  • FOUR MAIN RULES OF LIFE

    DRINK, STEAL, SWEAR & LIE

I met this guy while I was on outreach and he has
a motto he lives by everyday. He said listen carefully and
live by these 4 rules : Drink, Steal, Swear, & Lie.
I was shaking my head 'no'no,no, but he then told me to listen
while he explained his four rules.
    So here they are :
1.. "Drink" from the "everlasting cup" every day.

2.. "Steal" a moment to help someone that is in worse shape
    than you are.
3.. "Swear" that you will be a better person today than
    yesterday.
4.. And last, but not least, when you "lie" down at night
thank God for life, health and strength.

I am not as good as I should be, I am not as good
as I could be . but THANK GOD
I am better than what I used to be !
